GLAAADA VAPPEN!!!!!

Today it's alreadey April 30th, which means vappu tonight. Wooohooo party partyyy... We'll start off the evening at M's place and from there the party will continue to Kauniainen for an all-night party. Tomorrow the party continues, in sunny weather hopefully, at H's. Cheeers because today we're gonna party!!!

Today's outfit and some shopping!!!!

Today I had rock-chick feeling. It's finally warm enough to wear a leather jacket, which is a find from H&M for 40 euros. With my jacket I am wearing a tight black skirt, also from H&M, a white, loose v-neck t-shirt and high black suede boots. And my beloved McQueen scarf of course. Who knew sculls could be so fashionable??? But at least I felt appropriately black for the grey weather today!!! My inspiration of course, was Sienna Miller!

Today's Fashion Inspiration: Sienna Miller

Love, love, love Sienna Miller. I just love her clothes. Her style is so versatile that it cannot be named, since she has everything from boho chic to rock to glam. But everything looks good on her. Her best outfit so far in my opinion is the gold dress from Burberry that looks like this:

Although she has a ver cool style when it comes to dresses, it is still her everyday-look that i love the most. It looks very comfortbale and can be used wherever, and that is the style I love.

Okay, these dresses are to die for as well:

If you didn't already know this, Sienna is a designer for the label TWENTY8TWELVE together with her sister Savannah. They have really cool clothes, inspred by the sisters' styles for prices that are really good compared to most designer clothes, so why not have a look at their website http://twenty8twelve.com. What look is your favourite?

Here are the designer sisters:

Raindrops are falling on my head!

And I don't like it!!!!!! What is going on, it was so nice and sunny, why is it fall again??? I hope the weather will be nice tomorrow because it is May Day Eve. Last year there was no party since I was in San Diego so this year I'll party twice as much, right??? Tomorrow we're going to have a barbecue and then go to a party in Kauniainen, and on saturday - picnic woohoooo!!! But now I am gonna go shopping and to a café with Rosa. Let's see how many shopping bags follow me back home!

This is May Day in Helsinki a few years ago:

Today's Outfit!

Today my inspiration was Lauren Conrad's girly style and then I am also loving dots, a big trend this summer. A little mix of modern-day and the 50s. On top of my dress I am wearing a Boyfriend-jacket so that the outfit won't be too cute. Stella McCartney designed the Boyfriend-jacket for summer 2009 but I have a feeling the trend will stick with us, I mean it looks good on women too, especially on dresses. The ballerinas are inspired by CHANEL and I actually one of the best shoes I have found, they are from Primark in London for 6 pounds, can you believe it??? Aren't they cute, almost better than real Chanels, I would say. These are some other trends I like this summer:

- Dots
- Flowers
- Sailor (Love it)
- Bold colors
- Denim
- Ballerinas (almost as cute as heels, and oh so comfortable)

What will you be wearing this summer?

Dress: Dorothy Perkins (London)
Jacket: Topshop
Ballerinas: Primark (London)
Trenchcoat: H&M
Sunglasses: Glitter

Shoes, shoes and more shoes!!!!!

Today has been a really good day, signs of the summer are everywhere and today you could see nothing but blue skies. Woohooo!!! I slept in today since I only had school for an hour and then I dragged myself to the gym and worked out for almost two hours - beach 2010, here I come. Then I had some time left to sit on the terasse and enjoy the sun - LOVELY!!!! This is how nice it was outside!!!!

When I came back to my room I started taking out my summer shoes and that's when I understood I've bought about 10 pairs of shoes in the last 2 months. Shopping crazy.. me??? Noooo, you don't say. So now I guess I have to sell a few pair because my shoes don't fit in my closet. But which ones should stay and which ones should go, I really can't decide since I love all of them. Help wanted please - here is a picture. Which ones are hot and which ones are not??

Difficult choice??? Absolutely, but now I will continue my evening by concentrating on something entirely different, which is this:

Today's Fashion Inspiration: Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad has the best all-Californian style. She mixes designer pieces with Hollister and Abercrombie jeans and has a really cute and girlie look. Lauren, who became famous because of the MTV shows Laguna Beach and The Hills has changed her style a lot since her High School days, with much success in my opinion - or what do you think of this picture proof?

I am especially loving her girly dresses, and all of her high-waist skirts which are a great inspiration to me. The enourmous sunglasses are almost her trademark so to copy Lauren's look, it's worth splurging on items like BIG sunglasses, high-waists skirts, nice pretty dresses, loose tops and a nice bag. But remember that Lauren is a California girl which means that UGGs and flip-flops are always good for and outfit out on the town. She has a very feminine but still classy style, that is very inspirational, don't you think??? Here are some more cute outfits!!

Today's outfit!

Today's outfit is inspired by Blake Lively, and an outfit she wore to a fashion event. I am wearing leather tights, a big white shirt, and a simple black jacket with very high heels. It's all black, but very laid-back and cool in my opinion. And YES, the shoes are actually comfortable!

Shoes: Podium (Stockholm)
Leggings: Gina Tricot
Shirt: Vintage
Jacket: H&M
Sunglasses Ray-Ban
Trenchcoat: H&M
Scarf: Alexander McQueen
Tote: Guess

Today's Fashion Inspiration: Blake Lively

Blake Lively is my best fashion inspiration right now. Many know her better as Serena van der Woodsen, the star of the hit series Gossip Girl. I love Blake's look right now. She is effortlessly chic, and looks like she just woke up and found the first thing in her closet and wears it. And it works and looks fabulous. She looks good in both jeans and fancy dresses that give her curvy body credit. She is also a girl who has not fallen into the size zero ideal and she looks healthy and fresh. The funny thing about Blake is that her style is similar to the one of her character, so they are both inspirational. Boho-chic or Upper-East-Side princess, both work and both her and her character Serena are very fashion forward. Personally I love all of her clothes, the dresses, the casual clothes - absolutely everything.

Have a look and get inspired!
