Style Inspiration: Doutzen Kroes

One of the most beautiful women in the world in my opinion,  I love her hair, her body, her face... I get a lot of make-up inspiration from looking at her pictures, and of course inspiration for exercise haha, I will look like that some day. Wishful thinking! But I will write more about her fashion sense later in the blog but here she is: Doutzen!

Yes, it happens that celebrities dress alike, just like we normal mortal people do daily, especially with our small shopping range. But our same outfit mistakes don't cover the pages of magazines. Because it's a scandal if two celebs wea the same outfit! (note the irony). But of course you have to compare, don't you - so who wore it better?

Today's Outfit

Today's outfit uis inspired by Serena from Gossip Girl. Even though it is a really simple combination, it looks really stylish and cute. I love stripes with a sand colored leather jacket and dark jeans. It looks so elegant, but I bought everything from high street stores. These pieces are all worth buying because they never go out of style!

Flowers....

Yesterday was Mother's Day, and we had a wonderful lunch with a feta cheese salad, bruschetta, potaoes, salmon, toast skagen and karelian pastries, and mudcake, strawberries and vanilla ice-cream for dessert. It was so delicious and summer-y you almost forgot the rain outside!

We had a lot of flowers everywhere, which inspired my outfit and I wanted to wear something with flowers, a trend I love this summer. Many flowers for me please. But it was a really nice Mother's Day with great food and a lovely evening!

Today's Fashion Inspiration: Nautical Trend

I love hte nautical trend, the sailor style... I know it is trendy every summer, now again, but I don't care, I just don't get tired of it! It is so stylish, the colours are nice, it just looks so good! I love anchors, stripes, white, red, blue, buttons, sailor shoes, absolutely everything! So it is no wonder so very many of my outfits in the summer are inspired by just sailor, or nautical trends. Today's outfit, for example, was inspired by nautical... Also, I love hte sailor trend on guys, very hot! It is a favourite, something you can't get tired of. Now I am just waiting for summer, sun and some great sailing... Sail away!

Even as a little girl I was a mini-sailor, I had a dress like this one, that I loved!

As for Kate Hudson, it is style that she possesses, because even though my style is not even similar to hers, I think what she wears looks really good, and that she's very beautiful. She looks like she likes herself and like she always has fun, which makes me want to know her. She is just stylish and looks like a happy and wonderful person - it's worth smiling for!
